Reach would like to thank our partners who have provided the resources and support that have allowed us to touch so many lives
THANK YOU
Since 1948, Greenwin has earned a reputation as one of Ontario's leading providers of rental apartments for all people. Today, they are among our province's largest privately owned, full-service property management and development firms. Greenwin invests in people and places to create exceptional, inclusive rental communities. Greenwin is known as a leader in multi-family housing, non-profit and affordable housing, social housing and commercial properties.
They are also known for giving back to their community, and as such, have been partners with Reach Toronto since 2017. The Greenwin Centre for Independence was established through the extraordinary
generosity of the Green family, who donated a two-bedroom apartment to create Reach Toronto’s Independent Living Skills Centre. Over the past seven years, this centre has been a vital resource for individuals with disabilities, equipping them with the skills needed to embrace independence. Many clients have transitioned to living independently in their own homes, while others have become more self-reliant within their family households. Additionally, the centre
has supported clients in successfully making the move to university or college residences, empowering them to pursue their academic goals with confidence.
BMO Financial Group (Bank of Montreal), founded in 1817, is one of Canada’s largest and oldest banks. With a comprehensive suite of services, including personal and commercial banking, wealth management, and investment banking, BMO serves over 12 million customers worldwide. Renowned for its innovative banking solutions, BMO is also deeply committed to sustainability and fostering economic growth within the communities it serves. BMO Financial Group has a longstanding tradition of investing in Canadian communities
through initiatives, donations, sponsorships, and partnerships. Reach Toronto is proud to have been a recipient of a four-year sponsorship under the Education banner. This partnership facilitated the development of a Financial Literacy program tailored for neurodiverse youth and adults.
Financial literacy is vital for everyone, but it holds particular significance for Reach Toronto’s clients, as it plays a crucial role in ensuring their long-term stability and independence. Through this sponsorship, Reach Toronto delivered a fully funded program at its centre, across various special needs schools in multiple GTA school boards, and at specialized community centres. This initiative has empowered neurodiverse individuals with essential financial knowledge, making a lasting impact on their lives.
Reach Toronto is proud to announce a generous sponsorship from Nella Toronto, a leading provider of high-quality kitchen equipment. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote food education and combat the high rates of diabetes affecting First Nations communities across Ontario, Nella Toronto has graciously donated top-of-the-line cutting boards and chef knives. These essential tools will empower individuals to prepare healthy and nutritious meals, fostering a deeper understanding of the vital role that diet plays in overall health. We are immensely grateful for Nella Toronto's support and dedication to our cause, as we work together to create a brighter, healthier future for the First Nations communities we serve.
The Laborers’ International Union of North America (LiUNA) demonstrates a strong commitment to social responsibility by actively supporting the communities in which its members live and work. LiUNA invests in initiatives that promote worker rights, education, and training, while also contributing to local charities, disaster relief efforts, and community development projects. The organization emphasizes fostering safe workplaces, advocating for fair wages, and building a sustainable future, reflecting its dedication to improving the quality of life for workers and their families.
One notable example of LiUNA’s impact is its partnership with Reach Toronto. Over a three-year sponsorship period, including the challenging years of the COVID-19 pandemic, LiUNA provided critical financial support under its Education banner. This sponsorship ensured that clients without the means to afford essential life skills programs could access these transformative opportunities. Thanks to LiUNA’s generosity, more than 20 students were able to participate in programs that equipped them with the tools and confidence needed to embrace independence and thrive in their personal and professional lives.
